It has a chemical composition similar to sebum, thus has a balancing effect on the skin. Rich in Vitamin A and E, it is a strong antioxidant. It is highly nourishing and moisturising, and helps restore the skins natural pH level.

High in palmitoleic acid, a mono-unsaturated fatty acid not commonly found in other oils, but also found in sebum. A highly nourishing, soothing and emollient oil. Light and easily absorbed into the skin.

High in Gamma Linoleic Acid (GLA), Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids and Vitamin C. It is anti-inflammatory and has healing and tissue regenerating properties which nourish and moisturise the skin. An excellent oil for mature skins.

A highly nutritious oil which is rich in vitamins, including Vitamins A and E. Also a good source of trace minerals and polyunsaturated fatty acids. It is moisturising and softening and easily penetrates into the skin.

Made from finely ground almonds. It has a soft, velvety texture and is a very gentle and nutritious exfoliant containing natural plant oils. It also has a slight softening effect on the skin and recent studies have shown that some of the phyto-nutrients contained in almonds can be beneficial in helping to reduce inflammation and support

The highest quality certified organic and unrefined beeswax is used in Miód products. Beeswax is known for it’s ability to help the skin retain moisture, is nourishing and softening. It is rich in fatty acids which are necessary to maintain healthy cell membranes, keeping the skin healthy and helping prevent early signs of ageing.

These are by-products of the essential oil distillation process and as such retain the water soluble properties of the oils. We use the healing and soothing Rose and Lavender Infused Waters.

Grapefruit seed extract is used as a preservative in Miód products. This is a natural preservative extracted from the peel, pulp and seeds of the grapefruit, using glycerine as a solvent. Glycerine is plant derived and a natural humectant, helping the skin retain moisture.

A fragrant and aromatic herb. Provides slight exfoliant action on the skin, helping to remove dead skin cells and stimulate circulation. Promotes relaxation.

A natural gum which acts as an emulsifier. It is a polysaccharide produced through the process of fermentation of the yeast Sclerotium Rolfsii on a glucose based medium. Contains skin smoothing and soothing properties.

Very finely ground walnut shell. A highly effective exfoliant, removing dead skin cells, polishing and refreshing the skin, and stimulating circulation.
