DRY AND TIGHT SKIN IN WINTER

Beat the feeling of tight and dry skin during winter months: Dr. Jessica Wu wrote in 2010: “Winter weather: Dry skin is especially common in the winter months when the humidity level outside drops. When the air outside is cold and dry, the water in your skin evaporates more quickly, this makes your skin feel dry and tight and makes it look flaky. In fact, your skin loses more than 25 percent of its ability to hold moisture in the winter. Windy weather (especially if you enjoy winter sports) can also beat down on your skin and make it look and feel dry and chapped.” To combat these feelings try some deep moisturizing products such as our Rejuvenating Face Oil or Everyday Face Oil.  While you may not use much moisturizer during the warmer seasons you may find that a more deep moisturizing option during winter will help your skin feel better and more supple.  We offer a full range of moisturizers and face oils.  Each one with its own description and the ingredients used.  We use only natural and organic ingredients and unlike some other brands, our ingredients are simple yet effective as they have been combined to give the best effect by working together.
